As Seniors: Teacher, and care taker of individuals, family, involve and active in the community as long as they wish.  
To share experience with Adult & Children and teach the youth.
Extended Family
From the beginning we human had extended family, older member stayed with the group until they died. Today, specially in America, there are no extended Family. Grand parents living by themselves or living in retirement home and not close to younger generation. In many countries with older traditions still grand parents living with family. But, they are changing too.

Last time when I saw my Father, he told me story about retirement home.

"The son get married and had children. After while wife start telling to her husband that, we don't have enough room and would be better for all of us if, we sent dad to retirement home. The son never thought that way before and was hard for him to send his dad away from home. With wife persistence and logic, the son start to convince his dad, with reason that would be better for him, and eventually took his father to retirement home. Many years past and his son got married and had children. His wife start complaining about space and would be better for his dad in retirement home. So, son went to his dad and told his dad, you understand, now is the time for you to go to live in retirement home."

That tells me, what ever we do today, will lay path for our Future.

Did we take care of others, the things that you want and would like to be take care of?
Health, would we be taking care of?
